OUR NAME IS ON THE RECORD
CRITICAL.
CHECKABLE.
A strong opinion needs
a stronger source.
Who publishes this desk.
The Daily Receipt and Weekly Receipt are publications of Communist All-Stars, the independent critical political project at DSAUSA.me. We are not affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America. Our editorial viewpoint opposes socialist state power, communist dictatorship, fascism, political violence, and policies that erode constitutional liberty. We scrutinize DSA proposals and the Democratic officials who advance them through documented actions.
Connections need direct evidence.
A shared slogan or policy is not proof of organizational control, funding, or material support. We identify the type of each link, its date, and the original record. Our power mapshows documented relationships and marks proposed connections that the reviewed evidence does not establish.
What our labels mean.
Reported facts describe what a linked source establishes. Analysis explains our interpretation and criticism. Open questions identify what the available record does not answer. A proposal is not an enacted law; an estimate is not an appropriation or an expenditure.
Every cost needs a denominator.
We state the fiscal period, program scope and funding source where established. We distinguish total program costs from additional costs, city spending from state or private funding, and revenue forgone from cash paid. We do not turn an advertised ticket price into a proven taxpayer loss.
Evidence can change the argument.
We link original announcements, budgets, testimony, votes, research and source documents. Material benefits, contrary evidence and uncertainty stay visible. We do not manufacture a negative finding to match a headline or infer a person's motives from disagreement.
How AI assists.
AI tools can discover leads, organize source packets, and assist drafting and editorial review. Their output is a lead, not a source. Publication requires checking consequential claims against the linked record. We do not invent reporters, expertise, quotations, or personal affiliations.
Corrections stay attached.
Substantive corrections identify the changed claim and evidence on the affected article, with an updated date. Source dates describe the underlying announcement; publication dates describe our own article. Older news is not presented as a new announcement.
Newsletter and press contacts.
The weekly newsletter is for readers who choose to subscribe and confirm their email address. Public editorial contact details are used separately for relevant press inquiries; they are not imported as newsletter subscribers.
